Profile

Giftin C K has been teaching Communication subjects in colleges since 2018, catering to both undergraduate (UG) and Diploma students at various colleges and institutes across Kerala. He joined the department in 2022. Giftin is also an accomplished video editor and filmmaker , with experience dating back to 2014. He has scripted and directed two short films and three music videos. He was a freelance video editor with a portfolio encompassing short films, documentaries, wedding films, and music videos. Giftin holds a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia from Annamalai University, a Master’s in Journalism & Mass Communication from Bharathiyar University, and has completed a One-Year Diploma in Digital Film Making.

Previously, he served as an Assistant Program Producer at Safari Television channel and as a Program Producer at Shekinah News Channel for approximately two years. Giftin has also worked as an Assistant and Associate Director in various projects including short films, ad films, and feature films.  Currently, he is engaged in writing screenplays for various feature film projects.
